Book Review: 'Elsewhere,' By Richard Russo Novelist Richard Russo's new memoir, Elsewhere, is the uncompromisingly tragic — yet beautifully told. EUROPE AGAINST THE JEWS By Gotz Aly.

Hannah Arendt would have eviscerated the title of “The Origins of Totalitarianism” had she not been the book’s author. Though published in Elsewhere – I’m surprised how many people liked this book.

If I’m being fully honest it was one of the worst books I’ve ever read. For school, it was an independent reading book, but so disappointing. The main plot happened in the first 4 chapters or so, and then the problem was resolved. After that the book got incredibly boring.
